Fall color is beginning to fill in along the Appalachian Mountain chain.  In eastern West Virginia and western Maryland, color change is high (61% - 80% change) to peak.  Moving south along the mountain chain, color change is moderate (31% - 60%) to high (61% - 80% change).  At lower elevations, color change is still low (but approaching the moderate range).

If you are planning a trip this fall, now is the time to make reservations!  Please check out our Places to Stay area to find great accommodations!
