There has been quite the increase in foliage color throughout the region. Most locations are reporting peak color with the exception of central Tennessee, southeast Virginia and central North Carolina, where color change is moderate to high. Also, the higher elevations of western Maryland, eastern West Virginia and pockets of western Virginia and western North Carolina are just past peak.
