The Appalachian Mountains continue to come alive with the colors of fall!  In much of eastern West Virginia, western Maryland and western Virginia, moderate color (31% - 60% change) is widespread.  In the highest elevations of West Virginia, the first reports of high color (61% - 80% change) of the season have arrived.  The lower elevations in the region are below 30 percent change.

Leaf drop is mostly very low in the lower elevations, with low amounts in the higher terrain.
