Report #14 - October 26, 2011

October 26, 2011

The higher elevations throughout the region are in full color, except for the higher elevations in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia and western North Carolina, where peak has passed.  The lower lying areas in eastern Maryland, eastern Virginia and eastern North Carolina are displaying moderate color (31% - 60% change).

Leaf drop is mostly moderate in the region, but is high where peak has passed.

If you are planning a trip this fall, now is the time to make reservations!  Find great accommodations in our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections.
