Peak foliage is spreading in the region.  Western Maryland, the western half of Virginia, southwest West Virginia, western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee are at peak.  Western Tennessee, much of eastern Maryland, non-coastal eastern Virginia and central North Carolina are at high color.  Meanwhile, southern Maryland, coastal Virginia and eastern North Carolina are showing moderate color.

Leaf drop is moderate to high throughout the region.
