The mountains continue to show more color, particularly in eastern West Virginia and western Maryland. These locations are reporting high color (61% - 80% change) and even some peak color in elevations above 4000 feet. Other areas in the Appalachian Mountains are reporting mostly moderate color (31% - 60% change). Lower elevations have mostly low color (11% - 30% change).
