The foliage season is over in the higher elevations in the region. The only color remaining is in western Tennessee, and eastern sections of Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. These areas will soon pass peak, so if you want to catch the final color of the year, get going soon!
Leaf drop is mostly moderate to high where peak conditions remain and is high to nearly complete where peak has passed.
