We are located in The Forks, Maine, a wilderness area with moose and deer by the roadside and osprey and eagles soaring overhead. Inn By The River brings you the comforts of home while you enjoy the out of doors. We have a total of ten spacious guest rooms; each is individually decorated in a charming country style and has a full private bath. Some of the guest rooms have private screened porches and whirlpool tubs. We have a new snow carriage apartment with 2 bedrooms, full private bath, complete kitchen and living room. This apartment sleeps up to 10 people.
In the first floor Great Room you may enjoy relaxing in front of the stone fireplace while listening to the piano or sipping on a cocktail from our pub. Outside are gardens, many hiking trails, fish in the river, and mountain bike and snowmobile trails for you to explore. Our fine dining restaurant is available by reservation.
