The Inn is more than 100 years old, sits on three acres, and is less than 1/8 mile from where the Appalachian and Virginia Creeper Trails converge. There are five trails in the area, where guests hike, bike, ride horses, and fish in nearby streams. The Inn is decorated in our personal antiques, collected from Europe and the US. All rooms have cable TV. The price of the room includes a full country breakfast. We also offer romantic, candlelight dinners that include everything from soup to nuts, and can be accompanied by beer, wine and champagne. Jim is a professionally trained, world-wide experienced vocalist who entertains the guests at dinner. The Inn now has a beautiful outdoor pool which guests are invited to relax in. The renowned Barter Theatre where many famous actors/actresses got their start is located in historic Abingdon, a short twenty minutes drive. There are numerous sources for antiques and local crafts and the Damascus area offers a beautiful nine-hole golf course.
