October 6, 2001
Peak foliage conditions are now prevalent in much of the northern half of Minnesota, and a large section of northern Wisconsin. Meanwhile, southern Minnesota, areas of northern Wisconsin not at peak, and much of the upper peninsula of Michigan are reporting high color change. All other sections are still reporting low to moderate change.

Leaf drop in northern Minnesota, portions of eastern Wisconsin, and northern areas of the lower peninsula of Michigan have reached moderate levels. All other locations in the Midwest continue to see low leaf drop.
