Foliage Report #17

October 31, 2001
The fall foliage season is over for most of the Midwest region. Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and portions of the Lower Peninsula and Ohio are now past peak. All other locations are at peak color change.

Leaf drop is mostly nearly complete to complete throughout the region. Again the exceptions being portions of Michigan and Ohio where leaf drop is high. Get out and enjoy the remaining leaves before they too depart for the year.

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Saturday, November 3, 2001.
