Foliage Report #8

September 29, 2001
The first reports of high color (61% - 80%) have arrived from northern Minnesota. Much of the remainder of northern Minnesota along with northern Wisconsin and the western section of the upper penninsula of Michigan are reporting moderate color. The remainder of the Midwest is reporting either very low or low color, with the very low reports isolated to the state of Ohio.

The amount of leaf drop is now split between low and very low. The exception being extreme northeast Minnesota, where leaf drop is now moderate.

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Wednesday, October 3, 2001.
