Foliage Report #5

September 18, 2002

Most of the Midwest is now dsplaying some degree of color change. Some areas in northern Minnesota, western Wisconsin and potions of eastern Ohio are reporting 11%-30% color change. Most of the remaining areas are experiencing 1%-10% change.

Leaf drop is not yet playing a role in the foliage season. The only leaf drop currently being reported is that from the distressed trees with early foliage change.

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network.
