Foliage Reports Archive - 2003 Midwest United States |
|
September 13, 2003 It seems that the dry spring and summer is setting up the region for a slightly early foliage season. There is already some degree of color change throughout the region, although most of it is very low. In parts of central and northern Wisconsin, and east-central Minnesota, the color change is in the low range (11 to 30 percent). In the coming weeks, the landscape will brighten with the stunning colors of fall. If you have not yet made your leaf-peeping travel plans, now is the time! Check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find great accommodations! This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released on Wednesday, September 17, 2003.
