Foliage Reports Archive - 2003 Midwest United States |
|
September 17, 2003 The number of areas experiencing low color change (11 to 30 percent) continues to expand as the foliage prepares to put on its colorful show. Much of eastern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin are reporting low color change. Small pockets of low color have also been observed in portions of Michigan and Ohio. Elsewhere in the region, the color change remains very low. If you have not yet made your leaf-peeping travel plans, now is the time! Check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find great accommodations! This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released on Saturday, September 20, 2003.
