|
October 8 , 2003 Abundant fall color is spread across much of Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the western portions of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The northern one-third of Minnesota is now at peak (80 to 100 percent change) so get out and enjoy the fall foliage there! Elsewhere in the region, most of the color change is in the low to moderate range. Leaf drop in northern Minnesota is now moderate, as the foliage enters the peak category. Leaf drop is also moderate in western Wisconsin. It's not too late to find a place to stay while traveling this fall! Check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find great accommodations! This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released on Sunday, October 12, 2003.
