Foliage Report #13

October 15, 2003

If you are looking for foliage in much of Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, you better hurry! These areas have reached the peak of the foliage season and soon the leaves will begin to drop. In northwest Minnesota, the peak has already passed. In southern Wisconsin, foliage color is mostly high (61 to 80 percent). In the Lower Peninsula of Michigan and in Ohio, the foliage change is moderate (31 to 60 percent) to high (61 to 80 percent).

Leaf drop is mostly moderate to high throughout the region. In northwest Minnesota however, the leaf drop in nearly complete.
