Fall colors are beginning to appear in portions of the upper Midwest. Much of northern Minnesota and portions of Michigan's Upper Peninsula are now reporting low color (11% - 30% change). Elsewhere in the region, there is little to no change. Leaf drop, as expected at this early date, is very low.
If you are planning a leaf-peeping trip and don't have lodging reservations, don't hesitate any longer! Many Bed & Breakfasts and Inns book solid during the foliage season. Don't miss out! Please visit our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find a great place to stay.
