In extreme northern Minnesota, the height of the foliage season is quickly approaching as the first reports of high color (61% - 80% change) have arrived. Elsewhere in the northern half of Minnesota, foliage color is moderate (31% - 60% change). In the southern part of the state, color change is still low (11% - 30% change). In Wisconsin and Michigan, conditions range from little/no change in the southern portions of the states to moderate color in the northern reaches. As for Ohio, the foliage there has yet to get started.
Leaf drop has increased slightly in areas reporting moderate to high color change. However, leaf drop is still low in these areas. Elsewhere, leaf drop remains very low.
