The foliage season is progressing rapidly across the region. Much of northern Minnesota has already passed peak foliage conditions. Peak color is prevalent in much of central and southern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and across much of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In central and southern Wisconsin, moderate (31% - 60% change) to high (61% - 80% change) color is in control. The Lower Peninsula of Michigan is mostly showing moderate color. And in Ohio, color change is low to moderate.
Leaf drop in areas that have passed peak is high, and moderate in peak color areas. Elsewhere in the region, leaf drop is mostly low.
