The foliage season continues to progress across the upper Midwest. The northern half of Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the west Upper Peninsula of Michigan are now past peak. Peak conditions can be found in southern Minnesota, the balance of the northern half of Wisconsin and the central and eastern portions of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Southern Wisconsin and the northern third of the Lower Peninsula in Michigan are reporting high color. Elsewhere in the region, color is mostly moderate with the exception of northwest Ohio and southern Ohio where foliage color change is around 25 percent.
Leaf drop is high in areas that have passed peak. Other locations in the region are reporting low to moderate leaf drop.
