Happy Halloween! October has drawn to a close, and so to has the foliage season in much of the western and northern portions of the region. Fall foliage is over in Minnesota, much of the northern half of Wisconsin, southwest Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northern portions of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Meanwhile, peak foliage is being reported in much of southern Wisconsin and the Lower Peninsula of Michigan and in eastern Ohio. Western Ohio is reporting high color.

Leaf drop is high to nearly complete in those areas past peak. In locations reporting high to peak color, leaf drop is mostly moderate.
