Foliage Reports Archive - 2001
|
|
October 10, 2001 A strong cold front recently moved through the Northeast, bringing with it moderate to strong winds. These winds resulted in an increase in leaf drop throughout many areas in the Northeast. At this point in the foliage season, there are only two isolated areas reporting high leaf drop (northeastern New Hampshire and portions of the Catskill Mountains of New York). All other areas continue to experience only low to moderate leaf drop. This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Saturday, October 13, 2001.
