The foliage season continues to progress, with peak and past peak conditions gradually pushing to the south. Much of northern New England and eastern New York are now past peak. Portions of the southern tier of New York have also past peak as has extreme southwest Pennsylvania. The only areas not reporting either peak or past peak conditions include sections of eastern Massachusetts, coastal Connecticut and Rhode Island, downstate New York, much of New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania. Foliage change in these areas remains moderate to high.

Windy conditions are bringing down more and more leaves, as the amount of leaf drop being reported is high to nearly complete in much of the Northeast. Southern New England, downstate New York, much of New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania are the exception, reporting only moderate leaf drop.
