More areas in the Northeast are reporting some degree of change (albeit
very low color) since Report 1 (September 5). Also, the first report of
low color was received from the northern sections of the western mountains
of Maine. Most of southern New England and Pennsylvania and New Jersey
are still reporting no change.
Leaf drop is still very low
to non-existent.
This information was provided
by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released
Wednesday, September 12, 2001.
