Foliage Report #3

September 12, 2001
A majority of the Northeast is now reporting some degree of foliage color change. Most of that change is very low, the exception being the northern sections of the western Maine mountains, where low color change has been observed. Most of southern Pennsylvania and New Jersey have yet to experience any change.

Leaf drop is very low to non-existent in much of the Northeast. The northern sections of the western Maine mountains and sections of the Adirondack Mountains are reporting low leaf drop.

This information was provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Saturday, September 15, 2001.
