Foliage Reports - Northeast United States

Foliage Report #2

September 7, 2005

Not much has changed since Report #1 as the Northeast remains in the Little/No Change category. There are sprinkles of color here and there, mostly from distressed/diseased trees or from those that simply change early every year. In the coming two weeks, watch for the colors to get going in the higher elevations in northern New York and northern New England.

If you are planning a leaf-peeping trip and don't have lodging reservations, don't hesitate any longer! Many Bed & Breakfasts and Inns book solid during the foliage season. Don't miss out! Please visit our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find a great place to stay.
