Foliage color is at peak in much of northern New England, northern New York and along the Southern Tier of New York and northern Pennsylvania. High color (61% - 80% change) can be found along coastal Maine, southern New Hampshire, western Massachusetts, much of Connecticut, portions of north-central Pennsylvania and in New York, the Mohawk Valley and the Finger Lakes region (western New York). Moderate color (31% - 60% change) is being reported in eastern Massachusetts (except Boston and the North Shore), much of Rhode Island, the Hudson Valley of New York, Long Island, northern New Jersey and southern Pennsylvania. Low color (11% - 30% change) is only now found in the Boston and North Shore areas in Massachusetts, eastern Long Island in New York, southern New Jersey, and the southeast corner of Pennsylvania. Peak has passed in northern Maine, parts of northern New Hampshire, locations in central Vermont and in parts of the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York.
Leaf drop is mostly moderate throughout the region but high in areas where color is peak or past peak.
