The unusually warm temperatures have finally been scoured out by a recent cold front. In its place, more autumn-like weather has taken hold. The foliage continues to progress in much of northern New England and in the higher elevations of New York. Many locations are reporting moderate to high color. Elsewhere in the region, foliage color remains low.
Leaf drop picked up a bit due to storms with the recent cold front.
