Foliage Report #20

November 10, 2001
The western two-thirds of the region has now past peak foliage conditions. The eastern third, in the meantime, is enjoying high and peak color. Of that one-third, most is at peak, the exception being southern Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Virginia where foliage color is at high levels.

Leaf drop throughout the region ranges from high to complete. Much of West Virginia, southwestern Virginia, and western Maryland have complete leaf drop. The remainder of the western half of the region has lost 81% - 99% of their leaves. Eastern locations are reporting high leaf drop.

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Wednesday, November 14, 2001.
