Foliage Report #7

September 26, 2001
The higher elevations of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia are beginning to show some signs of fall. To this point, these are the only areas in the Southeast to show any discernable amount of color, and it is still low. All other areas in the region are still reporting very low color. So, as the foliage season in the Northeast begins to kick into full swing, the Southeast patients awaits its turn.

Leaf drop continues to be low to very low whch is expected with so few leaves changing..

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Saturday, September 29, 2001.
