Foliage Report #8

September 28, 2002

Foliage color change continues to slowly progress. The past few days have been windy and rainy throughout the region as the remnants of Tropical Storm Isidore delivered some much needed rainfall. Color change remains mostly very low to low. Moderate color has been reported in parts of the mountains of West Virginia and western Maryland.

Leaf drop continues to be low to very low. The leaves, which are in the early stages of change, held up reasonably well the winds from the remnants of Isidore.
