Much of the region is now in the low color range (11 to 30 percent). Higher elevations of eastern West Virginia and western Maryland are experiencing moderate color (31 to 60 percent) change. Elsewhere, very low color is in effect.

Leaf drop continues to be low to very low throughout the region.
