Foliage Report #20

November 9, 2002

Wherever you go in the region, you will be greeted by at least high color (61 to 80 percent). Most of the area is at peak, the exceptions being southeast Virginia, southern Maryland and southern Delaware, where high color is present, and much of northern West Virginia and western Maryland where peak has past.

Leaf drop in most of the region is moderate to high. In parts of western Maryland and central West Virginia, leaf drop is nearly complete.
