Foliage Report #10

October 4, 2003

Moderate (31 to 60 percent) color is now showing up in the mountains of western Maryland and northeastern West Virginia. Elsewhere in the region, color change remains at or below 30 percent. This year's foliage change is a bit behind normal, most likely attributed to the abundant rain that fell in the region this year.
