Foliage Report #17

October 29, 2003

The Southeast is showing at least moderate color throughout with a high concentration of high and peak colors in the western two-thirds of the region. In eastern Virginia and much of eastern Maryland, moderate color persists. In eastern West Virginia, the foliage has passed peak. There are plenty of great opportunities to enjoy the fall color, so get out there and enjoy!

Leaf drop is moderate to high throughout the region. In much of eastern West Virginia, leaf drop is nearly complete.
