In the higher elevations of the Southeast, the foliage season is mostly over. Some foliage viewing opportunities continue however in central and eastern North Caroline and Virginia, central and western Maryland and in Delaware.

Leaf drop in the western half of the region is nearly complete to complete. In the eastern half, the amount of drop is mostly high.
