November 12, 2003 The foliage season in the Southeast is already over in much of the region. In most of West Virgninia, western Virginia, much of Maryland and the State of Tennessee, the foliage has passed peak. However, some foliage viewing can still be enjoyed in central and eastern Virginia, central and eastern North Carolina and in southeastern Maryland. Leaf drop in much of the region is nearly complete to complete. The exception to the rule is central and eastern North Carolina where the leaf drop is high. Looking for a place to stay? Check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find great accommodations! This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released on Saturday, November 15, 2003.
