The foliage season is wrapping up in the higher elevations across the region. Peak conditions can still be found, however, to the east and west of the Appalachian Mountains. In southeast Virginia and eastern North Carolina, fall color is high.

Leaf drop is mostly moderate to high where peak has not yet passed. In the areas where peak has passed, leaf drop is nearly complete to complete.
