Foliage color is beginning to appear, mostly in the higher elevations of the Allegheny Mountains in Virginia, northeast West Virginia and western Maryland. These locations are reporting low color (11% - 30% change). Elsewhere in the region, there is little to no change reported.
Leaf drop is mostly very low with a few patches of low drop.
