A strong cold front passed through much of the area late last week bringing rain and strong winds. The rain was welcome, but the wind was not, as it brought down some of the leaves, mostly the ones that have already dried out. Luckily, the color change is still in the early stages, otherwise this type of event could have cut the foliage season short. Color change remains mostly very low to low with some moderate color in northeastern West Virginia.
Leaf drop is very low to low throughout the region.
