Much of the Appalachian Mountain chain is showing good foliage color with many areas at peak. In the lower elevations, conditions are mostly high color with eastern North Carolina lagging a bit with moderate color.

Leaf drop is mostly moderate across the region with high leaf drop in the higher elevations of northern West Virginia.
