Much of the Appalachian Mountain chain is showing good foliage color with many areas at peak. In the lower elevations, high color (61% - 80% change) can be found. In the higher elevations of northeastern West Virginia and western Maryland, peak has now passed.
Leaf drop is mostly moderate to high except in the areas where peak has passed where the leaf drop is nearly complete.
