The foliage season is rapidly coming to an end in the higher elevations in the region. Much of the Appalachian Chain is now past peak. Elsewhere in the region, conditions are mostly at peak except for portions of southern Delaware, eastern Maryland and eastern North Carolina where foliage color is high (61% - 80% change).
Leaf drop is mostly moderate to high except in the areas where peak has passed where the leaf drop is nearly complete.
