Low color (11% - 30% change) is being reported in the higher elevations in eastern West Virginia. Elsewhere in the region, there is little to no color change. As expected at this early stage of the foliage season, leaf drop is very low.
If you are planning a leaf-peeping trip and don't have lodging reservations, don't hesitate any longer! Many Bed & Breakfasts and Inns book solid during the foliage season. Don't miss out! Please visit our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find a great place to stay.
