Foliage Report #6

September 23, 2006

Foliage change is finally starting in some areas in the region. In the mountains of eastern and southern West Virginia, western Maryland, northern Viginia, western North Carolina and central Tennessee, foliage color has crossed into the low range (11% - 30% change). The remainder of the region has yet to get beyond the little/no change category. In the weeks to come, however, this will change and the colors of fall begin to show themselves.
