Now is a great time to view the foliage in much of the region. Foliage color is mostly high to peak across the region with the exception of central and southern Delaware, eastern Maryland, eastern Virginia and eastern North Carolina where foliage color is moderate. The other exception being the higher elevations in northeast West Virginia where peak has passed. Foliage viewing along the Appalachian Chain is fantastic. Get out and enjoy the colors of fall!
Leaf drop is mostly low to moderate with the exception of areas at or past peak where leaf drop is high.
