Foliage color in the region is progressing with the Appalachian Mountains at peak color (past peak in the mountains of West Virginia). Foliage color is high in central Tennessee, central North Carolina, central Virginia, northeastern Maryland and northern Delaware. Moderate color can be found in eastern North Carolina, eastern Virginia, southern Maryland and southern Delaware.
Leaf drop is mostly low to moderate with the exception of areas at or past peak where leaf drop is high.
