The foliage season is over for most of the higher elevations in the region. However, there are still great opportunities to see the foliage in the lower-lying areas in the Southeast. Great color can still be found in much of Maryland, central and eastern Virginia, and much of Tennessee and North Carolina.
Leaf drop is mostly moderate with the exception of areas at or past peak where leaf drop is high to nearly complete.
