The foliage season is over for much of the western half of the region. Some fall colors can still be seen in eastern Maryland, central and eastern Virginia and central and eastern North Carolina.
Leaf drop is mostly moderate with the exception of areas at or past peak where leaf drop is high to nearly complete.
